Ingredients
 160 ml Warm water
 44 g White sugar
 5 g Dry yeast
 ¼ tsp Salt
 20 ml Vegetable oil
 280 g All purpose flour
Method
1

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water,( 110-115 degrees F) and then stir in yeast. Allow to rest until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
Preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade.

2

Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in flour one cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.

3

Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half. Shape into loaves, and place into well oiled loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans. Brush it well with milk and sprinkle some seeds if you wish too. The sugar in the milk will caramelize to give a nice golden brown colour.

4

Bake at 180 degrees C for 30 minutes or until brown on top and when tapped at bottom it should sound hollow. Thjs is a test of a well baked bread.
