Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Units Scale

Cinnamon Roll

  • 125 ml Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 25 g Sugar
  • 140 g Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 g Dry Yeast

Filling

  • 40 g Butter
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon Powder

Frosting (Vanilla)

  • 1 cup Icing Sugar
  • 15 g Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Dairy Cream /Milk

Instructions

Heat in a pan:

  • 125 ml milk
  • + 30 grams butter
  • + 25 grams Sugar
  • Heat until just short of boiling.  DO NOT BOIL.
  • Remove from the heat and let it cool until warm. Add Yeast and mix in.

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

  • 140 grams flour
  • + 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • + 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • + 1/4 tsp salt.
