Cinnamon roll- people who are crazy about cinnamon, adore these. One whiff of this roll baking in your oven and it will bring your whole family to the dinner table by just its heavenly smell.
This cinnamon roll is topped with sugar frosting and sometimes with cream cheese. I have shared both the recipes, you can frost with whichever pleases your tongue. Goes without saying that the one with cream cheese is definitely richer and yummier.
They are soft, cinnamony and sweet. A perfect combination of flavours if you love cinnamon.

Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients

Cinnamon Roll
- 125 ml Milk
- 30 g Butter
- 25 g Sugar
- 140 g Flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 g Dry Yeast
Filling
- 40 g Butter
- 40 g Sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
Frosting (Vanilla)
- 1 cup Icing Sugar
- 15 g Butter
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Dairy Cream /Milk
Instructions
Heat in a pan:
- 125 ml milk
- + 30 grams butter
- + 25 grams Sugar
- Heat until just short of boiling. DO NOT BOIL.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool until warm. Add Yeast and mix in.
In a separate bowl, whisk together:
- 140 grams flour
- + 1/4 tsp baking powder
- + 1/4 tsp baking soda
- + 1/4 tsp salt.
