I have always been intrigued by the dessert banoffee pie. i thought it would be a little challenging to make it . But it is the easiest dessert to make ever and a super duper hit wherever i take it. Whenever my friends request for a dessert and I don't have much time on hand I whip up this dessert and this sure is a crowd pleaser.

You can make a whole big pie or individual portions. Of course making  individual portions is. bit time consuming.

Yields1 Serving

Ingredients
 200 g Digestive biscuit
 100 g Butter
 1 Condensed milk( 1 Tin )
 2 Bananas
 250 ml Whipping cream
 50 g Grated chocolate

1

Melt butter and add crushed biscuits, mix well. Spread on bottom of an 8 inch tin & chill. Boil the tins of condensed milk in a pressure cooker for 45 minutes by watch.
BE SURE THAT THE TINS ARE SUBMERGED IN WATER AT ALL TIMES - OR ELSE YOU WILL BE CLEANING THE CEILING!!!

2

When cool ( cool it for 7-8 hours) spread the toffee over the biscuit base.

3

Slice up a couple of ripe bananas on top of toffee and cover the toffee layer with one layer of sliced bananas.

4

Whip up the cream and spread over the banana.

5

Grate some chocolate or even chocolate curls, or drizzle melted chocolate over the top chill (or serve straight away).

6

BIG TIP one can boil up a load of tins of condensed milk. Once they are cooked they will keep very safely for months in the larder or cupboard. This makes it the fastest dessert in town if one has the toffee already. also the biscuit base mix freezes very well.
