We all love our breads in some variety or the other. Don't we? We have it toasted with butter, jam, nuttela, peanut butter or make a sandwich out of it or as garlic bread as an accompaniment to pasta or just a side dish. The list is endless. I would say it is one of the most versatile things which can be turned in to a dessert such as bread pudding or our Indian version shahi tukda or savoury or just had plain as it is. It definitely satiates your hunger pangs any time of the day and in almost always available in all households.

It can be made it a crazy number of ways. It can be a very simple way of making it- a flour bread or as complicated as a sour dough bread. Most of the breads we buy from the market is laden with preservatives and chemicals and knowingly or unknowingly we consume it almost everyday of our lives.

Here i am sharing. a very simple bread recipe which each of us can bake in our homes lovingly for our family. If you have a big family you can bake 2-3 loaves at one time which would last a couple of days or if its smaller like mine bake one loaf every few days. And its fresh and totally chemical free.:)

Happy baking !

Brush it well with milk and sprinkle some seeds if you wish too. The sugar in the milk will caramelize to give a nice golden brown colour.
